National Squash Centre

Squash enthusiasts in Malaysia have an advantage of enjoying their game in an advance facility, the National Squash Centre. Located in the ring of the National Sports Complexes, it is one of the most sophisticated squash centre around the globe.

Boasting German technology, the centre has 10 modifiable courts, meaning a flick of switch gets you eight doubles courts. In addition, you can move the high-density fibre-boarded walls to form a bigger court. The Centre Court is extra special because of the 12mm thick reinforced armour plated walls and is adjustable for singles and doubles events. The Centre Court can also house an astounding 1000 seating capacity.

Small sports get together is possible at the 10 training courts with smaller viewing galleries that can house 50-70 people.

The usage of air trust pneumatic system to absorb pressure from the knees and ankles gives the floor a cushioned surface, a note for the health conscious.

Just like the other complexes, the centre's scores and results are generated through alpha numeric scoreboards. Even the smaller training courts have their own electronic scoreboards.

Aside from the above facilities, the centre is also equipped with 20 lounges for everyone in the sports field, press centre for 80 journalists, a cafeteria, doping and medical control room.
