Bowl Centre
Take a 15 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur city centre to be amazed
by the Bukit Kiara Lawn Bowl centre. Tagged as the largest and most
sophisticated lawn bowling venue in Malaysia, the centre is perfect
for those who would like to enjoy a game of lawn bowling in a mind-relaxing
atmosphere.
Residing on top of a hill and surrounded by trees, the centre was
utilized during the Kuala Lumpur '98 - XI Commonwealth Games.
If you think that the scenery is simply breathtaking, wait till
you get onto the playing field. The lawn bowl centre boast five
Bermuda grass pitches, in their best form at all times. The natural
grass bed seeded by foreign experts uses the Strath Ayr system.
Measuring 40m x 40m, each pitch is equipped with 4 floodlights
providing illumination up to 1,200 lux. The pitch is further enhanced
by a computerized result system as an addition to the normal method
of manual recording. Each green is equipped with a personal computer
to channel information to the master electronic scoreboard.
The centre has 1,000 permanent seating including 300 at the grand
stand. Ample space available along the pitches allows for accommodation
of temporary seating should there be a need.

Rest and relax at the Club House as it has various modern facilities
for players, match officials, members of the media and guests. The
changing rooms, lounges, cafeteria, VIP room and many other facilities
are provided for the convenience of those using the facility.

to enjoy lawn bowling for both its facilities and the right environment.
